Event: CAES Workshop

October 24-25, 2008 Minto Suite Hotel Ottawa, ON

Agricultural economics researchers have a long history of undertaking policy-relevant research. The objective of this workshop is to provide an opportunity to enhance the discussion between agricultural economics researchers and organizations that use their research for developing policy.

The workshop will feature Canadian and international speakers, providing insights on what makes agricultural economics research relevant for policy advice.

This workshop will bring together academics with industry leaders, policy organizations, consulting firms and government officials to explore ways in which agricultural economics research can continue to be a relevant source of information for policy development.

This 1.5 day workshop will be held in Ottawa, Ontario on October 24th and 25th, 2008.
